Three years ago I became a widow.  I’d never lived alone before and was kind of freaked out about the thought of it.  Was I going to be lonely as well as being alone?  Was everything going to be different?  Well, yes, it is different, but, as it turned out, not lonely.  It has been a great life experience and I am now loving life alone.  I think one of the secrets to being alone, but not lonely, is keeping busy.  This blog is my new busy-making project.  I’ll be writing about traveling, cooking, entertaining, and anything else that crosses my mind.  I hope you find it interesting, and check back often.  Welcome to my blog.  Check the “blog” icon above to see what’s new!
